I’ve given Mr Abdul-Jabar 5 stars on all points. He explained what my problem was by showing me the x rays. He answered all my questions about how he would do the hip replacement and what to expect afterwards. On follow up we discussed my difficulty reaching my foot and gave further advice on that. His manner is calm, kind and extremely supportive. I hope not to need to see him again but will certainly return to him if I need further hip or knee surgeries in the future.

I recently saw Mr Khan for patella tendinopathy. From start to finish he was professional and reassuring. He explained the condition and the options available to me, listened to my concerns and ultimately put my mind at ease. I loved the diagrams he drew and how he pointed out the problem on the MRI scan. I came away feeling that really knew what was happening inside my body and what I needed to do to get back on track. I was referred to Mr Ghosh by another Consultant who I was informed undertook half knee replacements that I had been advised I should consider having. Mr Ghosh confirmed this would be the best option, showed me my MRI and the damage to my knee and that he was happy to perform the operation. This was scheduled for just 3 weeks later. I received a detailed explanation of what the operation entailed and the possible issues that may arise. I met with Mr Ghosh both pre op and after it had been performed and then again 6 weeks later. He gave me very good advice concerning post operative physiotherapy and that my recovery was very much in my own hands. I'm very please to say I have made a rapid recovery. I considered I was in expert hands throughout and very pleased with the outcome.
