My experience from start to finish was as I had hoped. At the diagnosis I was given a full explanation and options for treatment. Having chose the surgery I felt fully included from the time I arrived at the hospital and the care I received from all included was excellent. The aftercare was equidistant thorough professional quality all the way through to my discharge.

My only difficulty in conveying my opinion of Kieran Power is finding the right words to express just how amazing a surgeon he is. This was after two previous reconstruction attempts had left me in a sorry state. I had been told it was in fact a “satisfactory result” because I could hide it in a bra (!) and there was not much else that could be done to help me. I was devastated and disfigured but my sister, a nurse, urged me to get a second opinion. From the moment I first met Kieran, I felt totally safe. He immediately reassured me that he could help me. His gentle manner is incredibly calming and I cannot express how much it meant to be treated with such kindness and respect after my previous experiences. This served to significantly reduce my anxieties from the start (and I had hitherto been treated for PTSD in connection with previous medical related traumatic experiences and my previous unsatisfactory cancer recon surgeries). I knew I was in safe hands and that this was a surgeon I could trust. His integrity and skill are outstanding. My surgery and recovery all went very well and I received wonderful care (Donna, his secretary, is just brilliant!). I have since shared photos of my recon with other breast cancer patients and they always say “wow, I want your surgeon!” I had just about given up even daring to hope that I might ever be able to feel vaguely happy about my body again after cancer but Kieran is a real life genius surgeon - I am eternally grateful to him. This Summer I pranced around in a bikini on the beach actually feeling confident I think!?!

Mr Khatib was professional and personable throughout He listened to my requests and produced the best results that I could have had

Dr Eugene Ong was both professional and gentle in both his examination and subsequent treatment of my ailment. He took an interest in me as an individual patient. The most standout aspect was that I did not feel rushed in my appointment with him so was also able to ask questions to understand my situation better, rare in medical treatments in my other experiences with doctors.

Dr. Danielle Greenblatt was very attentive. She listened carefully to all my problems and answered all of them politely and accurately.
