After a warning from the neurosurgeon & oncologist who had been monitoring the regrowth of my meningioma in September 2023 that it required surgery & as it was a second operation it was at high risk of stroke, bleeding, bone infection, going through old scar tissue, the tumour was pressing against a large vein. My daughter suggested I sought a second opinion, we chose Mr Shoakazemi who also specialises in my type of brain tumour.  He confirmed…the risks were very high indeed, the brain tumour had grown too big for fractionated radiotherapy and surgery through the old wound of some 20 + years ago was the only option. We found Mr Shoakazemi to be extremely approachable, professional, calm, warm & informative.  I feel incredibly lucky to have had the faith on a date said to be the unluckiest day in the yearly calendar …Friday 13th October to undergo surgery with such a gifted neurosurgeon. I am (thankfully to Mr Shoakazemi) walking straight, talking straight & feeling fully blessed.

Mr. Chandler is an outstanding, knowledgable, professional expert within his area of expertise. I recommend him highly and give him 5 stars!. Absolutely 100% outstanding.

I am so happy that our paths crossed with Mr. Foroughi at the time when I was diagnosed with a condition. He has been the calming force that I needed, he answered all my questions, explained everything in detail, always checked on me to make sure everything was going to plan. Mr Verganis is exceptionally professional and kind. Obviously he has a wealth of experience and is an expert in his field. I’m truly grateful for the relief I feel from all the symptoms I had previously and some I haven’t mentioned. I was about to make an appointment for an assessment relating to restless leg syndrome as I was experiencing constant twitching and restlessness in both legs whenever I lay down. All that, was stopped due to the op. I’m pleased to say that since my operation the twitching and restlessness is also gone. Thank you Mr Vergani for treating and relieving almost 3years of anguish and also that I can now lay down without twitching or restlessness in both legs.
