Dr Ibrahim was very thorough in the examination, we discussed possible options and everything was explained to the smallest detail. We decided to go for surgery, needed up doing both knees (with 6 month interval). Recovery time was quite quick, knees absolutely fine. I was back in the gym and physio within 2 weeks after surgery. Good bedside manner and very clear explanation

I could not recommend Mr Mokawem enough after the treatment and care he has given me for my scoliosis. Every appointment we had, we are always approached with a reassuring and calm manner, and feeling fully informed on our possible options. We were meant to go ahead with surgery, yet after the Multi-Disciplinary Meeting took place, we were told that in my current position, they should not operate until further investigation had taken place. This just shows how incredible this team is, willing to postpone the surgery as something was not quite adding up. However, after thorough investigation, the surgery went ahead. He always left me choice throughout this process, listing all of the benefits and drawbacks of each stage. I was operated on at the RNOH, and almost every day, Mr Mokawem would come and see me. On around day 3, he came in and asked me if I wanted to stand and go for a short walk. I didn’t as this was one of the days I felt the most sore, but after some time chatting with him, he reassured me and supported me to push myself. I could not be more grateful for Mr Mokawem and his team’s care, and would highly recommend him to anyone! He has been hugely reassuring both to me and my parents.

Mr Daulatzai was very informative about my condition at the time of first consultation and fully explained the procedure that would be undertaken and the immediate after effects of same. I could not have asked for anything more pre-surgery.
