Priory's organisation seemed to be very good. The initial screening call seemed abrupt at the time and very clinical, but the staff member seemed knowledgeable and matched me with a great clinician. I had Kira as my clinician - from the very first session she created a very safe, welcoming space, explained very clearly the path forward we would take and maintained very clear communication throughout all my sessions. I had never tried or even heard of EMDR and she explained it in a way that was very easy to understand and also the reason behind each of the steps and actions. She was very kind, knowledgeable and I felt that the priority was my health above all.

The Priory North London has saved my life! I have so much gratitude to every councillor, consultant, therapist, doctor, nurse, every ward staff member, catering, maintenance, the cleaning staff and receptionist. Each and every person has shown me such empathy and kindness. When I first came to the Priory I didn't know what to expect as I have never had counselling before. I didn't have to wait long to be seen. On entering the building there is a warm, calm atmosphere from the staff. They are so kind and helpful and have helped me in so many ways. They always say good morning and always offer me a drink from the tea and coffee machine. The building is spotless and has a lovely fishtank in reception. Very calming. I have an amazing counsellor Sue who is helping me through my most darkest time. She greeted me with a lovely smile and made me feel at ease right from the start. The Priory is so calming. I enjoy my sessions with Sue and always feel better after my session. She is always very compassionate and calming. Thank you everyone at the Priory. You are the best. Kind regards Julie K

I was apprehensive about rehab re alcohol dependency after a negative experience in a different clinic 5 years ago....but I needn't have worried as soon as I had my assessments with Colin Jones (therapist) and Dr Fafiolu ( Consultant ) I knew I'd made the right choice .I completed my treatment on 25th March It is such a caring ,compassionate,positive and safe environment and you know that every single member of staff wants the best for you and for you to get better. The staff are all absolutely amazing and that includes Consultant, therapists,Holbrook ward team,housekeeping team and kitchen staff oh and not forgetting the admin & reception teams. It felt like my home for the 28 days and the patients and staff like extended family! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Bristol Priory to anyone that needed help with an addiction .

My therapist was fantastic. He gave me my life back!
