I have so much gratitude to every councillor, consultant, therapist, doctor, nurse, every ward staff member, catering, maintenance, the cleaning staff and receptionist. Each and every person has shown me such empathy and kindness. Honestly, the best experience I have ever had with a doctor. After suffering for a really long time with unexplained symptoms and feeling very dismissed by other providers, Dr Miller took the time to really listen and explore all options without making me feel like a burden or a nuisance. I feel like I have some hope now. I have also seen other doctors at this practice in the past and had a similar positive experience. Also with the admin staff who are lovely. I highly recommend Dr Miller and the practice in general.

Receptionists can sometimes be a little brusque, but otherwise very good overall.

It’s just a friendly and supportive environment

Entering the lady at reception says straight down the corridor to room 6. Door at the end of the corridor says waiting room 3 so I go back and ask and she says yes. Going in, room 6 says do not disturb. But I’m wondering if it’s been left like that by accident. There’s the sound of wind playing but no sign explaining why so I spend a few minutes trying to figure out if it’s wind or a speaker. This could be handled by explaining clearly where to go and what will happen - particularly important to people who are neurodivergent, which is why I’m here. I’m anxious enough without extra cognitive load. She could say “Straight down the corridor into waiting room 3, the doctor is in room 6. If it shows do not disturb then wait and he’ll be with you shortly. There’s a speaker playing wind sounds to try to put you at ease.”

Always friendly and accommodating. Easy to book online and easy to speak to over the phone as well. They have a lot of specialties which makes it very convenient. Overall they have very good specialists.

Held Health has been excellent in providing an autism assessment and therapy after my diagnosis. I was very impressed by the efficiency and organisation of the admin team so I was never in doubt when it came to when my appointments were. They answered any questions that I had quickly with great care and consideration.
