Choosing Dr Atheron for my rhinoplasty was life-changing. From the start, Duncan provided a professional and reassuring environment, thoroughly explaining the procedure and answering all my questions. I had a big ask – not to look like I’ve had a major rhinoplasty op. The surgery went smoothly, and one year later, I can confidently say the result is fantastic - my new nose looks completely natural! Most people are unaware I’ve had a nose job (even my parents, who needed to see before and after evidence to notice a difference). It feels like I finally have the nose I was always supposed to have. Recovery was easier than expected, with practically no pain and minimal scarring (despite having an alar base reduction). From the moment I met Mr Blackburn I was made to feel as though he had a genuine interest in me as a person. I had an implant removal and uplift and each option that was available to me was carefully explained with the pros and cons being discussed too. The results of my surgery are amazing. After going through a mastectomy and a failed implant through another surgeon, I came to see Mr Ramsey to try and find a solution for the long term. Mr Ramsey gave me the confidence and reassurance from our first meeting and I am pleased to say he delivered exceptional results - and surpassed my expectations. He is extremely calm and patient and he made the whole experience positive and focused on my wishes and getting me back to where I was before the diagnosis. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending Mr Ramsey to anyone - he is extremely knowledgable and achieves incredible results with a very collaborative approach to take into account what the patient wants.

During an arranged examination of my skin Mr. Kumar identified two small early signs of Basal Cell Carcinomas on my left cheek. At my request he very kindly agreed to remove these which he did within an hour of identifying them. I am most grateful to him for his professionalism and for his detailed explanation of the procedure for their removal. Mr. Kumar has previously carried out more extensive surgery on my face and I am delighted with the result. He is extremely conscientious and caring in the way that he has provided treatment for me.

I immediately felt comfortable during my consultation with Miss Hunter who took time in explaining everything and answering all my questions. I was shown before and after photos of patients who had the same procedure that I was contemplating. I left the consultation feeling confident on what could be achieved. I am almost 1-year post surgery (breast reduction & lift) and I am delighted with the results. My sister accompanied me on the consultations and post-op checks and suffice is to say that when she decided she was ready for some self-improvement she also went to Miss Hunter and she too had a great experience and result. I also want to mention Miss Hunter's PA Sophie who was excellent as well as being kind and patient.

My only difficulty in conveying my opinion of Kieran Power is finding the right words to express just how amazing a surgeon he is. This was after two previous reconstruction attempts had left me in a sorry state. I had been told it was in fact a “satisfactory result” because I could hide it in a bra (!) and there was not much else that could be done to help me. I was devastated and disfigured but my sister, a nurse, urged me to get a second opinion. From the moment I first met Kieran, I felt totally safe. He immediately reassured me that he could help me. His gentle manner is incredibly calming and I cannot express how much it meant to be treated with such kindness and respect after my previous experiences. This served to significantly reduce my anxieties from the start (and I had hitherto been treated for PTSD in connection with previous medical related traumatic experiences and my previous unsatisfactory cancer recon surgeries). I knew I was in safe hands and that this was a surgeon I could trust. His integrity and skill are outstanding. My surgery and recovery all went very well and I received wonderful care (Donna, his secretary, is just brilliant!). I have since shared photos of my recon with other breast cancer patients and they always say “wow, I want your surgeon!” I had just about given up even daring to hope that I might ever be able to feel vaguely happy about my body again after cancer but Kieran is a real life genius surgeon - I am eternally grateful to him. This Summer I pranced around in a bikini on the beach actually feeling confident I think!?!
