The embolization procedure was a much preferred option for me than a more intrusive hysterectomy. It was quick, minimum discomfort and amazingly effective, in that the considerable reduction in my very heavy periods was virtually instant. I would go as far as to say it was life-changing and I have never looked back. The procedure not only saw me through until after the menopause, when my periods would stop anyway, but now 15 years down the line, still the fibroids remain ‘shrunk’ and not causing me any issues. I would recommend the procedure to anyone faced with multiple or large fibroids that have a considerable impact on your life and well-being. I am pleased with the results under Mr Rathod’s care. My first meeting with him in November 2023 was very optimistic. He gave me a plan which was completed in just 4 months. My Razvi carried out an anterior and posterior repair and 6 weeks after the operation all seems well and I feel fine. The problems I had pre operation seem to have been corrected. In my follow up appointment Mr Razvi explained what he had had to do during the operation and answered all my questions about the future. I would recommend Mr Razvi for any similar gynae issues.
