I went to Mr Osama Aweid with knee pain and he listened to me carefully. He then explained all the options that were available in detail, including a knee replacement surgery. When I chose to have the surgery he was very supportive. The operation went very well and my recovery was very good. He is an excellent person as well as an excellent consultant. My whole experience with Mr Sheeraz has been exceptional from when I was first refered to now, over the past few year’s Mr Sheeraz and his team have explored every angle of my symptoms in order to determine whether a full knee replacement would reduce or completely remove my pain, after all of these were looked into it was determined that my knee was very worn out and the only path was surgery, which was carried out on 1/3/24 and I cannot thank Mr Sheeraz and his team and all who were involved in making my quality of life, pain and mental state so much better for it, I feel amazing even though it had only been eight weeks since my procedure my progress has been great and I’m looking forward to being totally pain free once fully healed. Mr Sood was extremely understanding of my concerns regarding a knee replacement, being the 2nd knee (the 1st knee wasn't a total success, by a different surgeon) and the whole procedure went much better than I expected. 8 weeks post op, and I'm hardly aware I had the procedure, the knee mobility is fine and is virtually pain free 😊.

I learnt 50pct of information regarding my diagnosis through questions rather than having it explained in full straight off. Perhaps he assumed I had more medical knowledge than I do. He was very pleasant though.
