I've had a benign tumour on the parotid gland in my neck for years and wanted to get the best possible resolution for it; whilst there existed a risk of permanent damage to the facial nerve from the surgery, I nevertheless felt that the tumour needed to be removed due to the growing risk, however small, of developing a malignancy as the years went by. Following a considerable amount of research, based on his credentials and the testimonials of his previous patients, Mr Aakshay Gulati was the maxillofacial surgeon I wished to treat it. Having now gone through the surgery three months ago, I am exceedingly pleased with both the outcome and the standard of care I received from him and his team, as well as his competence and professionalism. He was able to remove the tumour in the least invasive way, with no damage to the facial nerve, loss of facial mobility or function, or any other significant adverse effects. It has been a tremendous relief to have finally resolved this problem, and I am very grateful to Mr Gulati for helping me with it.

Mr Ghufoor impressed me from our first meeting to the last. He methodically worked to identify my ailment (sleep apnea) and gave me options to mitigate it. I chose surgery to remove an enlarged tonsil after discussing the pros and cons with him. He predicted the entire process and gave me the comfort and confidence to proceed, knowing there would be painful moments as I healed. I haven’t slept this well in years, my energy is back, and I feel like I have a new lease on life, thanks to Mr Ghufoor. I highly recommend him.

I had a great experience with Professor Sandhu. I never felt rushed or unheard as he would always take the time to explain his opinion/findings, as well as the options available to me. He would also ensure any questions I had were answered in the appointment before any decision on next steps were made. We built trust very quickly considering when I first met with him I was quite nervous about my condition and what lay ahead. But he always reassured me and not by way of overpromising any particular outcome, which felt genuine and honest.
