I’ve given Mr Abdul-Jabar 5 stars on all points. He explained what my problem was by showing me the x rays. He answered all my questions about how he would do the hip replacement and what to expect afterwards. On follow up we discussed my difficulty reaching my foot and gave further advice on that. His manner is calm, kind and extremely supportive. I hope not to need to see him again but will certainly return to him if I need further hip or knee surgeries in the future.

Mark Webb was brilliant from start to finish. I felt like I was being listened to for the first time and not dismissed or sent away with pain killers or a steroid injection. He understood that although I’m never going to play sport at a high level, that playing for health, wellbeing and the social side was important to me and his aim was to get me back to playing. He also understood and agreed when I said I didn't want to spend my life on pain meds. He explained the surgical process to me in great detail, in a way which an ordinary lay person could understand. He made himself available to me when I had questions. He advised me on pain levels post surgery and what to expect in the weeks following the surgery. Which was all spot on. His bedside manner was friendly, professional and understanding.

Mr Spicer combines his extensive knowledge and experience with a calm and reassuring bedside manner. His explanations at all times were very clear, helping me to decide on the best option moving forward. He is an excellent knee specialist and I would thoroughly recommend him.

I will always be grateful to Dr Klinke for a very successful operation and for the consultations that helped me recover and walk normally again after a very serious ankle injury. Mr Andrews was a fantastic surgeon and made me feel completely at ease during my 8-month treatment period. He informed me thoroughly on my condition during each visit and was always cognisant of my priorities as a patient.
