For just about all of my life, in both professional and personal contexts, I have sought excellence. I haven’t often found what I’d personally describe as excellence, although I’ve often seen something close to it (I work in a safety critical role). I can count on one hand (less, in fact) the number of times I’ve given a recommendation (I.e. not more than 2 or 3) because I do so only when I see true excellence. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Mr Scala. Not only do I seek true excellence and only give reviews when I find it, my eyes are something I’m personally very, possibly even overly, sensitive about and so I was truly petrified when diagnosed with a detached retina. Mr Scala responded in a highly professional and efficient manner, took time out of what must be an incredibly busy schedule to allay my concerns as far as he possibly could that allowed me to overcome my fear and undertook the surgery in a highly efficient and effective manner. By choice, I would not choose or allow anyone else to look after/undertake any procedure my eyes or those of my loved ones. I can and do recommend Mr Scala without a single moment of hesitation - he is, in my opinion, truly excellent.

Such an understanding,patient kind man. I felt full confidence in his skills and ability to rectify my condition. Such expertise is to be highly valued and I was lucky to have him.

I can not praise the treatment and care I received from Mr Dubois enough. He listened to my concerns, explained in detail what would take place on the day and give me confidence of a positive outcome. During the cataract procedure his calm demeanour with the both the nursing staff and myself helped me to relax and within 15/20 minutes all was successfully and painlessly completed. I now have unbelievably 20/20 vision in that eye and I count myself lucky and privileged to have been a patient of Mr Dubois.

I was treated with respect and fully informed of the procedure. I could not ask for anything more - it made the experience good from beginning to end. Thank you.

Obviously, having anything done to your eyes is daunting, but the procedures I have experienced have always been comfortable. Mr Yodaiken is very gentle and explains what is happening as he works. He is very professional and sympathetic.
