Dr Anderson provided immensely valuable care and guidance in seeing me at short notice, taking time to listen to my issues with the longstanding ulcerative colitis and went over and above in offering advice and best plan of treatment going forward even though that would be with the NHS. Being a person that was concerned Mr Haque spent time explaining the procedure. The operation was explained by him at the hospital on operation day and Mr Haque came back to see him after the operation. AS a patient I feel so much better and would have had this done sooner if I had known. The type of operation was an open hernia repair. I had a quick recovery for this and was back at work within three weeks . I attended my post op eight weeks later, and was discharged.
