The doctor and assistants were wonderful but the appointment was 45 minutes late

I recently had to undergo a mastectomy and reconstruction with Professor Mokbel following my breast cancer diagnosis and am delighted with the result . The surgery took place promptly and I have minimal scaring ( the smallest half moon shape under my nipple) , unbelievably ! The most surprising thing was the almost complete lack of pain after 24 hours bar a little discomfort and how incredibly my reconstructed breast matches with the other side . As well as his expertise and professionalism I found Professor Mokbel to be kind and empathetic and after my follow up appointments I have come away feeling reassured and informed. An all round positive experience which has helped no end during a difficult time coming to terms with the shock of breast cancer.

Andrew was amazing, from my first appointment and all the way through to my surgery and afterwards. He answered all my questions and put me at ease straight away, and always answered my messages leading up to my surgery and afterwards.

The experience I had with Dr Chakravorty was outstanding, he was really good with explaining exactly what was going to happen and answered all of my questions in an easy to understand way. My consultations never felt rushed and I got the impression he really cares for his patients. I would 100% recommend Dr Chakravorty and his team to anyone that needed his service, I can't fault him at all

Dr Lobo was incredibly professional, knowledgable and informative. She explained in great detail how to manage the aftercare. I was also very impressed on how her approachable she was in the consultation.

Calm demeanour, takes his time to explain everything, did not feel rushed- felt that I was in good hands all through. Fortunately had a clear result and will remain proactive with checks thanks to his kind overview with respect to Awareness! Thank you!

My only difficulty in conveying my opinion of Kieran Power is finding the right words to express just how amazing a surgeon he is. This was after two previous reconstruction attempts had left me in a sorry state. I had been told it was in fact a “satisfactory result” because I could hide it in a bra (!) and there was not much else that could be done to help me. I was devastated and disfigured but my sister, a nurse, urged me to get a second opinion. From the moment I first met Kieran, I felt totally safe. He immediately reassured me that he could help me. His gentle manner is incredibly calming and I cannot express how much it meant to be treated with such kindness and respect after my previous experiences. This served to significantly reduce my anxieties from the start (and I had hitherto been treated for PTSD in connection with previous medical related traumatic experiences and my previous unsatisfactory cancer recon surgeries). I knew I was in safe hands and that this was a surgeon I could trust. His integrity and skill are outstanding. My surgery and recovery all went very well and I received wonderful care (Donna, his secretary, is just brilliant!). I have since shared photos of my recon with other breast cancer patients and they always say “wow, I want your surgeon!” I had just about given up even daring to hope that I might ever be able to feel vaguely happy about my body again after cancer but Kieran is a real life genius surgeon - I am eternally grateful to him. This Summer I pranced around in a bikini on the beach actually feeling confident I think!?!

Mr Chong immediately put me at ease. Took the time to actually listen to my concerns & discuss past history. He explained the process after he had examined me - mammogram & scan. A very nice gentleman.

I cannot thank Miss Tang enough. They found something in a scan and next day she accepted to see me and explained all the scenarios. One week later I had the result which she took me through. She cares and ensure you feel supported. Thank You!
