As always, Fiona is kind, and empathetic but holds you accountable in a warm and friendly way. After every session I feel strong and feel like we are tackling the root of the problem. I am starting to understand myself better without judgement and confusion, and why I react and am the way I am. I reached out in the first place because I was lost and couldn't figure out why I was going around in circles and why my fears were stopping me from achieving my goals. Understanding yourself brings optimism and a hope that breakthroughs and long term changes are happening. I take comfort in that and could not have done this alone or been as open and honest with anyone else. Trust is a massive thing in these situations especially if people have broken that trust in the past. It takes time to learn to open up and be lighter again... I am starting to feel more stronger mentally and emotionally than I have in years :)

Brian Kaplan has been looking after me and my family for 35 years. Kate is a warm, kind, compassionate and intelligent coach. She knows how to ask the right questions to get to the core of the matter, so that I can take steps from there. With Kate I feel safe to be who I am at this moment, and to feel and express my feelings. Kate keeps up with the current science, which greatly helps my sense of safety. She is knowledgeable, and at the same time knows her scope of practice clearly. She hasn't been afraid of referring me with specific questions. Since doing the Lightning Process with Kate, I have managed to take huge steps in my recovery from ME/CFS. I have more energy, and am able to be much more active than I have been before. I am more calm and relaxed in my daily life, I am kinder to myself, and I can look at the future again with a sense of excitement and hope, instead of despair. On a regular basis, people around me tell me that I look more relaxed, more present, more embodied and healthy.
