From my first consultation, right through to my review after the operation Mr Shah was brilliant. He was a professional, knowledgeable and put me at ease right away. My hip operation was very successful, Mr Shah did a very good job on me and after committing myself to my physio, I was very quickly mobile and pain free. All staff at Spire were amazing. I am very grateful for the care I received.

So good I went back to get the other hip done! What a great surgeon and great team around him. I could not have asked for a better experience in any other way. A minor scar, barely any pain straight after surgery and up and about getting my life back straight away. By using minimally-invasive surgery, my hip operation (carried out by Mr Jaiswal) allowed me to get my mobility back in days rather than weeks. As a result of his calm and re-assuring manner, I had no anxiety over the operation. His advice on rehabilitation with the physios allowed me to cope confidently with life back home. Mr Mohan explained my knee replacement every step of the way. I have a neat and tidy scar which I’m obviously very happy about. I had a 9 month check up last week and he explained why I was still experiencing pain. Questions went out of my head and I rang to speak with him again. I had a telephone appointment the same day where I put my questions to him. He answered fully and clearly and wishes to see me in 6-9months if things don’t improve!!! Trust me to have a very fine delicate knee cap which apparently is the problem. Thank you Mr Mohan for everything you’ve done. SJ

Mr Henry Atkinson is a very approachable, professional and extremely competent surgeon. Eight weeks ago, he replaced my 73-year-old arthritic right hip. From my first meeting with him to the last, his friendly, communicative demeaner, and willingness to answer fully all my numerous questions about the procedure, put me at ease and gave me great confidence in his professional abilities and experience. This view was well founded as the operation was a great success and my recovery amazingly speedy. Marks? Definitely an 11 out of 10!
