From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. I had a very positive experience with Mr. Francesco Di Maggio, who performed my umbilical hernia repair surgery. He explained everything thoroughly and reassured me throughout the process. I was referred to Mr Jenkinson by another surgeon who was unable to assist me because he could not provide the necessary long term follow up. I am very pleased that he did. I have found Mr Jenkinson to be thoroughly professional, candid and realistic. My sleeve surgery in January 2018 went very well and, following his team’s clear advice, I have lost a third of my excess weight in 3 months. I only have one regret which is that I did not seek his advice years ago.

I was recently under the care of Dr Tsironis while recovering from abdominal surgery. His visits each morning kept me informed of how I was doing, but it was at the follow up appointment once I had been discharged that he really took the time to explain my condition to me. I asked endless questions and he really helped me to get a grasp on what had happened to me by showing diagrams of the anatomy, explaining to me so that I could understand. He put me at ease and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.

You know when you're going to have operation that is goto be painfully. Mr Monk put me at ease through out. It was done so well yes it was painful for just two days with the painkillers they gave me just uncomfortable. He is a such a good surgeon I could walk and drive after week

Professional and personable. We knew exactly what was going to happen and when. Dr Krishna Moorthy was very clear and engaging. I had total confidence in him as a Surgeon and expert in his field of study. Without him we wouldn't have the opportunity to live and have the opportunity to travel as no other Surgeon had the skills required to the surgery that was required. He has extensive experience of working with complex patients and shows care for each patient. Would highly recommend him.

The aftercare has been outstanding - there were times when I would send an email on a Saturday evening not expecting a reply until the Monday and had an immediate response. He is very accessible and thorough too. One of the best surgeons I have encountered.
