I was extremely nervous before I saw Mr. Modayil for the first time, but he put me at ease and was very clear when it came to explaining what needed to happen next. At my second consultation, he was equally reassuring and clearly understood my stress levels and the need to address the problem quickly. I've had a benign tumour on the parotid gland in my neck for years and wanted to get the best possible resolution for it; whilst there existed a risk of permanent damage to the facial nerve from the surgery, I nevertheless felt that the tumour needed to be removed due to the growing risk, however small, of developing a malignancy as the years went by. Following a considerable amount of research, based on his credentials and the testimonials of his previous patients, Mr Aakshay Gulati was the maxillofacial surgeon I wished to treat it. Having now gone through the surgery three months ago, I am exceedingly pleased with both the outcome and the standard of care I received from him and his team, as well as his competence and professionalism. He was able to remove the tumour in the least invasive way, with no damage to the facial nerve, loss of facial mobility or function, or any other significant adverse effects. It has been a tremendous relief to have finally resolved this problem, and I am very grateful to Mr Gulati for helping me with it.
