Dr Purohit is an expert in fibroids. He is very patient and compassionate and was happy to answer my many questions before and after the surgery (open myomectomy). He advised me of all the options so that I could make informed decisions. The actual surgery went really well and the incision was very neat, so the scar is healing very well. Dr Shan Low has delivered my healthy baby boy as a consultant obstetrician by Caesarean section in the Portland Hospital on 20th May 2024. Looking back at my pregnancy and delivery journey, my husband and I are very grateful to have Dr Shan Low to be our consultant obstetrician. We are first time parents and we are not familiar with the delivery process. I have been a patient of Mr Aquilina for the past twenty one years and could not be more grateful to have been introduced to him all those years ago. Initially I went to see him after a miscarriage and he then cared for me during both my subsequent pregnancies and births. He has also patiently guided me through my menopause treatment, carefully explaining and reassuring me at every stage, ultimately something that was transformative for my quality of life. My most recent appointment with him was for a mirena replacement, part of my HRT. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but he was patient, didnt make me feel rushed and did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible. Nurse Mila was wonderful also and didn't leave my side! I can honestly say that I trust Mr Aquilina with my life and could not recommend him highly enough. His knowledge, experience and kind bedside manner would be hard to beat.

He asks lots of relevant questions and listens to my replies. It was a good appointment. Both my appointments have been so far. I have full confidence that Mr Durnea is doing all he can to help me.

My experience of egg freezing at the Lister was really positive from start to finish. I am really grateful to Mr Nicopoullos who was is extremely knowledgeable and skilful at explaining things clearly. Even though I always had many questions, I never felt rushed and he always took the time to listen and to make me feel at ease.
