I'm a patient of the Dry Eye centre, and given the excellent care I'm receiving, I decided also to do a general check of my eyes at the Burnett Hodd & Tam Optometry. All the staff was very welcoming and Doctor Tam helped me to get the right prescription, clarified my doubts and suggested a couple of contact lens options that I could try given my condition. He has been very professional and I felt at ease during the visit.

Dr Roos and Dr Murthy are both very professional skilled surgeons. They make an excellent team and you are getting 2 experts which makes them unique. They discussed the best way forward for me and were realistic about the results so there were no false expectations. As well as being skilled surgeons the after care they offer is second to none. They set up a WhatsApp group so I could message them if I was concerned anytime about anything post op which was very helpful in early recovery. I have seen multiple other 'top' surgeons who made mistakes which caused me to look botched. I finally found people who not only managed to successfully correct the mistakes that past surgeons but who also genuinely care. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Experience with Dr Romil-Patel I saw doctor Romil Patel and had a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience with him. I had a sever eye infection and went to see him for such reason. He prescribed me eye drops for 2 weeks which bleared my vision. As my work involves working with computer entire day - I asked Dr Patel via his secretary to put a note in the letter for my employer explaining this as the prescribed medication would affect my work. He refused to do this for a private visit for which I paid nearly £400!!!! I really do not think that this is a professional approach from his side! He was more concerned to see me in a few days and then 2 weeks so that he would be paid for such visits!
