Some of the receptionist staff were not very welcoming or polite. I also was out of hours for the pharmacy and was told I could only get a prescription from there, which of course wasn't helpful. I had to request a prescription from NHS in the end which added significant time.

Excellent experience all round. Very clean. Everyone involved in my treatment was highly professional and efficient. Staff were friendly & made me feel comfortable throughout the journey. The quality and quantity of food & drink was particularly good after my operation, which really helps you to feel positive as you start your recovery.

SCPH generally was very clean, well presented and created the impression of a friendly, caring atmosphere. My room was comfortable with all en-suite facilities I could wish for. A sole minor downside about the hospital is the lack of adequate car parking
