Mr Tavakkolizadeh was extremely proficient from the very first consultation to diagnose the reason for my shoulder's pain and decided on the best course of treatment. He remained very approchable throughout and his explanations were always very clear and transparent.

As an amateur keyboard player, I sought out Mr Phillips as I was keen to have the opinion and perspective not only of a hand surgeon but also of a fellow musician, and I was not disappointed. I found him to be very professional, easy to talk to, an attentive and sympathetic listener who put me at my ease and gained my confidence at once. Our conversation was unhurried, his explanations were very clear and he was very reassuring about the treatment I had already received (from another surgeon) and about further treatment being proposed. He was also very helpful in pointing me towards hand therapists who might be able to help me in my recovery after further surgery, including therapists who specialise in working with musicians. He said he would be happy to see me again if necessary and for my part I would certainly have no hesitation in consulting him in the future. I couldn't recommend Mr Phillips highly. enough.
