I had high tibial osteotomy knee surgery performed by Mr Amit Shah at the Spire Hospital Blackpool in May 2023, Mr Shah is a brilliant surgeon and the procedure has been a huge success for me, and it has prevented me having a full knee replacement. One year on I am now walking around 12/15 K a day with my dog, previously it would have only been around 3K and then the pain would get to much for me, I would encourage anyone who is offered this as an alternative to a new Knee to go for it, the future benefits are well worth it 👍.

I have had occasion to see Mr Marynissen several times over the last few years, (for different and separate issues), but latterly one week ago for knee pain diagnosed as chondrocalcinosis following MRI scan. I cannot recommend him highly enough as each consultation and procedure could not have been more professional, precise and effective. Not only that, both he and his medical secretary absolutely bend over backwards to facilitate the shortest wait possible for an appointment - followed by timely treatment despite the fact that his time, knowledge and expertise is always in great demand.
