From the very first meeting with Mr Bhagawati I was put completely at ease and felt totally reassured in his ability to help me with my severe disc bulges. With Mr Bhagawati's guidance surgery was decided as the best option for me. On Surgery day I was extremely nervous but Mr Bhagawati and his team helped me through and the day after surgery I was up and about and home. I have fully recovered and now have my life back. The aftercare has been great and have the reassurance of follow up appointments for one year should I need them. After a warning from the neurosurgeon & oncologist who had been monitoring the regrowth of my meningioma in September 2023 that it required surgery & as it was a second operation it was at high risk of stroke, bleeding, bone infection, going through old scar tissue, the tumour was pressing against a large vein. My daughter suggested I sought a second opinion, we chose Mr Shoakazemi who also specialises in my type of brain tumour.  He confirmed…the risks were very high indeed, the brain tumour had grown too big for fractionated radiotherapy and surgery through the old wound of some 20 + years ago was the only option.
