Mr Atkinson communicates thoroughly everything I needed to know about my surgery and condition, pre admission and post surgery. He is straightforward and to the point when communicating important elements, a trait I like and respect. He is also respectful, charming, humorous and wonderful human being on top of being a cracking surgeon.

Mr Ahmad was helpful in his explanations at all times. He described the condition of my knee and the procedure he was proposing to deal with it. He answered all my questions patiently and clearly. He pointed out risks as well as potential benefits, as well as indicating the likely post-operative experience and evolution, both worst- and best-case. He was friendly, attentive and caring both before and after the operation.

I came to Dr Bownes for a second opinion on two MRIs of my knee. He did not provide a clear response to whether my ACL was damaged despite repeatedly asking him, and he did not seem worried my knee pain was left undiagnosed. I did not feel my concerns were heard during or after the meeting, or that he looked at the MRIs carefully, and he seemed to have made up his mind before looking at them. Dr. Bownes did not seem very interested in my case.

I went to Mr Osama Aweid with knee pain and he listened to me carefully. He then explained all the options that were available in detail, including a knee replacement surgery. When I chose to have the surgery he was very supportive. The operation went very well and my recovery was very good. He is an excellent person as well as an excellent consultant. Mr Aweid was very professional and I cannot thank him enough for everything he has done for me. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Thank you very much for all of your support.
