My only difficulty in conveying my opinion of Kieran Power is finding the right words to express just how amazing a surgeon he is. This was after two previous reconstruction attempts had left me in a sorry state. I had been told it was in fact a “satisfactory result” because I could hide it in a bra (!) and there was not much else that could be done to help me. I was devastated and disfigured but my sister, a nurse, urged me to get a second opinion. From the moment I first met Kieran, I felt totally safe. He immediately reassured me that he could help me. His gentle manner is incredibly calming and I cannot express how much it meant to be treated with such kindness and respect after my previous experiences. This served to significantly reduce my anxieties from the start (and I had hitherto been treated for PTSD in connection with previous medical related traumatic experiences and my previous unsatisfactory cancer recon surgeries). I knew I was in safe hands and that this was a surgeon I could trust. His integrity and skill are outstanding. My surgery and recovery all went very well and I received wonderful care (Donna, his secretary, is just brilliant!). I have since shared photos of my recon with other breast cancer patients and they always say “wow, I want your surgeon!” I had just about given up even daring to hope that I might ever be able to feel vaguely happy about my body again after cancer but Kieran is a real life genius surgeon - I am eternally grateful to him. This Summer I pranced around in a bikini on the beach actually feeling confident I think!?!

I felt totally confident with Dr. Ghanem. He knew exactly what he was doing, and the results speak for themselves,The care I got after the surgery was also fantastic. They made sure I was comfy and knew what to expect during my recovery. It made a big difference knowing they were there for me every step of the way.

Dr Arda was only one of very few surgeons I found in the U.K. who was confident doing a scarless closed rhinoplasty on me. Others said it was too hard and that I needed open. I really didn’t want a scar as I have had keloids before and would rather not have a rhino than have a visible scar. I’m 6 months post op and have a beautiful nose and NO scars. Professor Miranda saw me on a "see and treat" basis for removal of a sebaceous cyst where the procedure was carried out in the same visit as the initial consultation. He explained the procedure and its possible side effects very clearly as well as the aftercare plan. He is really reassuring, professional and approachable and my questions were answered clearly in full and at no point did I feel that any question I asked was a silly question.
