Dr Stephen McWilliams

Dr McWilliams is a consultant general adult psychiatrist and Associate Clinical Professor. They are Clinical Lead for the Psychosis Programme, in addition to treating a wide range of other general adult psychiatric disorders. Dr McWilliams has contributed widely to print media, including the Irish Times, the Journal.ie and the Medical Independent, and also to radio. They are Medical Editor of Hospital Doctor of Ireland.

Dr McWilliams and their team offer a multidisciplinary approach to those experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. Evidence-informed inpatient treatment includes pharmacy, psychology, social work, occupational therapy and specialist nursing, aimed at helping patients and their families to achieve their recovery goals.
