Dr. Murray returned to his native Ireland in 2020 after a successful tenure at Alberta Hospital Edmonton, Canada. During his time there, he also held an academic position at the University of Alberta, where he made significant contributions to the field of psychiatry.
Dr. Murray's specialised training in Neuromodulation was acquired from prestigious institutions such as Harvard University and Duke University. Additionally, he pursued further expertise in Addiction and Pain Management at the Centre of Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), University of Toronto, Canada, and the University of British Columbia. Prior to his international endeavours, Dr. Murray completed his undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialist training in psychiatry in Galway. He also served as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Galway before venturing abroad in 2015.
Dr. Murray has also earned master's degrees in Medical Science and Health Care Management. His commitment to advancing the field of psychiatry is evident through his active involvement in professional organisations such as the Clinical TMS Society (CTMSS) and the Canadian Neuromodulation Society (CNS).
