About Niamh Brady

Niamh Brady is a highly skilled physiotherapist with 15 years of experience in both clinical and academic settings. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Trinity College Dublin in 2009, she gained diverse experience working in hospital and sports environments. In 2013, Niamh travelled to Queensland, Australia, where she earned her Master’s in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Her career later took her to London, where she worked alongside orthopaedic consultants, pain specialists, rheumatologists, and sports clinicians in top musculoskeletal and sports clinics. In 2016, she returned to Ireland, where she now balances private practice with her academic role as a part-time lecturer on the Physiotherapy Masters Programme at University College Cork. Currently pursuing a PhD, she is investigating the role of Virtual Reality in the Rehabilitation of Shoulder Pain.

Niamh is dedicated to a holistic approach, promoting overall health for optimal recovery from pain and injury. She prioritises patient-centred care, focusing on each individual's unique rehabilitation needs and empowering them to take control of their recovery process.

Her areas of special interest include shoulder pain, neck pain, upper limb injuries, chronic pain, and pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain. Niamh also enjoys working with athletes in sports like Gaelic football, hurling, camogie, tennis, golf, swimming, and yoga.

Niamh's previous roles include founding and practising as a specialist physiotherapist at Evolve Health in West Cork, lecturing at the University of Limerick, and working as a specialist physiotherapist at Physio Remedies in London. She has also held teaching positions at Brunel University in London and worked at prestigious clinics like Pure Sports Medicine in Kensington and Royal Hospital Donnybrook in Dublin.

Her academic training includes a Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin. Niamh is also trained in dry needling, Reformer Pilates, and clinical Pilates.
