Dawn O'Rourke

Dawn O’Rourke is a dedicated psychotherapist currently practicing with Empathy Counselling and Psychotherapy. After successfully completing her professional training at the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP), she has earned pre-accreditation status with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

Dawn utilizes an integrative approach to therapy, seamlessly blending different therapeutic modalities to suit the unique needs of each individual. At the core of her practice is a client-centered philosophy. Her primary objective is to cultivate a warm, comfortable, and deeply trusting therapeutic relationship from the very first session. By doing so, she establishes a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel entirely supported as they navigate their personal challenges.

Committed to continuous professional development and expanding her clinical expertise, Dawn is currently pursuing an advanced diploma in Integrative Adolescent Psychotherapy. With this specialized training underway, she looks forward to expanding her practice and offering dedicated adolescent therapeutic sessions in the near future.
