Dr Zein is an orthopaedic surgeon based at Prime Hospital with over ten years of experience. He graduated from Medical University in 2006 and completed his advanced educational studies and research at Damascus University in 2011, where he received his master's degree (with honours) in orthopaedic surgery. Dr Zein is board certified in trauma and orthopaedic surgery by the Arab Board of Health specialisations.

He has expertise in the following areas:

• Pediatric orthopedic surgery,
• Flat foot, high arch foot, club foot, development hip dislocation
• Sports injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle (conservative or surgical)
• Arthroplasty of the hip, knee, and ankle joints and treatment of degenerative joint diseases
• Arthroscopy of shoulder, knee and ankle joints and minimally invasive techniques
• Foot and ankle surgery, cosmetic foot surgery (hallux valgus, bunion, claw toe, wide forefoot) adult flat foot, hallux rigidus
• Cerebral palsy complications, gait disturbance, leg length discrepancy, osteomyelitis treatment

Dr Zein has previously served as an orthopaedic surgeon and as a supervisor of medical students and high educational orthopaedic students at Damascus' largest university hospital for over 8 years. He has extensive expertise in the treatment of joints and orthopaedic problems, as well as a lengthy history of conducting and training in all types of orthopaedic procedures, particularly complex cases.
