Dr. Zainb Moalla

Dr. Zainab Moalla is a DHA-licensed physician specialising in Functional, Preventive and Longevity Medicine. She combines evidence-based medical practice with advanced diagnostic testing to assess the underlying factors contributing to health concerns and develop personalised strategies focused on optimising health, supporting performance and promoting healthy ageing.

Dr. Zainab graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Medicine at Damascus University and has developed broad clinical experience across primary care, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, intensive care, wellness clinics and home healthcare. This varied background informs her approach to assessing patients as a whole, considering their symptoms alongside relevant metabolic, nutritional, lifestyle, sleep, stress and medical factors.

She has completed the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice programme and is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine. She also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, and infection prevention and control.

In her consultations, Dr. Zainab begins by exploring the patient's symptoms, their onset, previous investigations and individual health goals. Existing laboratory results are reviewed within the wider clinical context, with additional laboratory, metabolic or genomic testing considered where clinically appropriate. She then develops a personalised care plan based on the patient's individual biology, lifestyle and objectives, explaining the rationale behind recommendations and investigations.
