Dr. Yahya Kiwan

Dr Yahya Kiwan is a Consultant Cardiologist at Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital and the only Regenerative Cardiologist in the UAE. And the international ambassador of the American Board of regenrative medicine.

Dr Yahya Kiwan is board director for the American Board of regenrative medicine cardiology program.

I am a highly qualified and experienced cardiologist with over four decades of experience in the field. I have worked in various countries, including UK,Australia, New Zealand, Tunis and the UAE.

As a senior consultant interventional cardiologist, I have experience in directing cath labs, managing departments of cardiology, and leading cardiac intervention teams. I am also a distinguished stem cell researcher and advocate, having developed a keen interest in exploring the potential applications of stem cells in cardiology since 2018.

I have written a book chapter on the role of stem cells in cardiology and am currently a scientific adviser and researcher at the Cell Surgical Network. I frequently give lectures and interviews on the benefits of stem cell therapy. My ultimate goal is to establish a multidisciplinary stem cell center in the region that can cater to all medical subspecialties.

In addition to my medical expertise, I am a skilled leader and manager. I have held several management positions in various hospitals, developed protocols, guidelines, and clinical management pathways, assessed hospital quality assurance, performed audits, and managed patients' safety. I am proficient in data management and analysis for clinical and scientific research purposes and have demonstrated effective communication and decision-making strategies. I am also involved in medical training and education, mentoring junior colleagues, and delivering education and training programs.
