Dr VJ Sebastian is a Consultant Cardiologist at PRIME Hospital in Dubai. He specialises in Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Illness Screening, High-Risk Hypertension Hypertension of Pregnancy, and CT Coronary Angiography.

Dr Sebastian completed his medical qualifications in India before undertaking further training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology in UK. He trained at a number of institutes including the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, London, Hammersmith Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, and St George's Hospital in London. He also trained in hypertension at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA, and in CT Coronary Angiography at Wisconsin Heart Centre in Milwaukee, USA.

Dr Sebastian has Worked in the National Health Service in the UK, and in the Ministry of Health Brunei, Darussalam. He was responsible for the first fully-fledged Heart Centre in the private sector of the UAE

He is a Fellow of Royal Colleges of London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, and Ireland and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiologists.
