Dr Vishrut Singh

Dr. Vishrut Singh is a DHA-licensed Specialist Pediatrician in Dubai with more than 9 years of experience in paediatrics, neonatology, and paediatric critical care. He currently practises with Aster DM Healthcare in Dubai, providing comprehensive medical care for newborns, children, and adolescents up to 18 years of age.

His clinical expertise includes childhood respiratory disorders, asthma, allergies, infectious diseases, neonatal care, paediatric critical care, growth and development, vaccination, and preventive healthcare. He manages a broad spectrum of acute and chronic childhood conditions, including fever, respiratory infections, pneumonia, wheezing, recurrent infections, gastrointestinal illnesses, and other common paediatric concerns.

Dr. Singh has advanced training in paediatric and neonatal intensive care through the Indian Diploma in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (IDPCCM). His previous tertiary-care experience includes the management of critically ill children in high-volume paediatric intensive care units, where he performed and supervised advanced procedures including mechanical ventilation, arterial and central venous access, point-of-care ultrasound, lumbar puncture, thoracocentesis, and pericardiocentesis.

He also has considerable experience in newborn and neonatal care, including management of premature babies, neonatal emergencies, NICU care, postnatal assessments, jaundice monitoring, breastfeeding support, and newborn screening guidance.

Beyond acute illness, Dr. Singh places strong emphasis on preventive medicine and healthy childhood development. His practice includes routine health checks, growth and developmental monitoring, nutrition advice, childhood vaccinations, travel vaccines, catch-up immunisation programmes, obesity and nutritional screening, and guidance for parents regarding their child’s physical and developmental well-being.

His academic background includes an MD in Pediatrics from Lady Hardinge Medical College and Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital, New Delhi, following his MBBS from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow. He subsequently completed the IDPCCM at Fortis Memorial Research Institute and passed MRCPCH Parts I and II through the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK.

Dr. Singh has also been actively involved in medical education and postgraduate training. He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and has supervised junior doctors and residents, contributed to clinical audits and case discussions, and conducted educational webinars for parents and healthcare professionals on vaccination, nutrition, child development, and paediatric health.

His approach to paediatric care combines evidence-based medicine with clear communication and family education, helping parents understand their child’s diagnosis, treatment, development, and preventive healthcare needs.
