Dr. Venkata Subba

Dr Venkata Subba is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Dubai and Sharjah at International Modern Hospital, Medeor 24x7 Hospital Dubai and HealthHub.

Dr Subba completed his medical degree at NTR University of Health Sciences, India in 2006 followed by his DNB in Orthopaedics at St Theresa Hospital, India in 2011. He also holds a professional Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of England (UK) and a Master of Orthopaedic Surgery degree from the University of Seychelles, American Institute of Medicine (USAIM), India. In 2013, Dr Subba completed a Joint Replacement Surgery Fellowship at Sunshine Hospitals Secunderabad, India.

He began practicing as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Prime Hospital Hyderabad, India in 2011, followed by Srisri Holistic Hospital and Shri Balaji Hospital. He moved to the UAE in 2015 and began practicing at Burjeel Specialty Hospital Dubai where he stayed for 2 years, later moving to Burjeel Specialty Hospital Sharjah and Lifecare Hospital Musaffah in Abu Dhabi. In 2021, he moved to Medeor 24X7 Hospital, followed by HealthHub and International Modern Hospital in 2022.

Dr Subba has expertise in arthroplasty and arthroscopy and has completed over 1000 orthopaedic and trauma surgeries over the 12 years of his career. He also has expertise in the following areas:

• Acute sport injuries (e.g. ligament injuries and sprains)
• Chronic musculoskeletal disorders (e.g. plantar fasciitis)
• Spine related conditions
