Dr. Upendra Shah is a highly experienced interventional cardiologist, having performed over 10,000 coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, and stent procedures throughout his career. He specialises in the treatment of patients suffering from heart attacks and chest pains and is proficient in conducting 2D echocardiography and TMT. Dr. Shah has over 30 years of experience within Interventional Cardiology. He obtained a DM in Cardiology and earned a Fellowship from Mumbai University in 1987. He is a highly respected professional and is renowned in his field.

Dr Shah has been an active researcher in the field of cardiology, his research interests include simple and complex lesion coronary angioplasty, multivessel and left main coronary angioplasty, coronary angioplasty in patients with poor LV function, as well as coronary angioplasty during an acute myocardial infarction.
