Ms Boitumelo ‘Tumi’ Sefolo, is a highly experienced and DHA-licensed Clinical Psychologist at LifeWorks Dubai with over 13 years of expertise in the field. Ms Sefolo is also Certified in the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) in Canada. Using this she employs evidence-based interventions to minimise disability and psychosocial stress resulting from illness or injury in her clients. She also has expertise in neurological assessments, enabling her to identify and manage neuropsychological conditions associated with injuries and work incapacity. Additionally, she has extensive experience as a forensic expert from evaluating the impact of personal injury on future functioning, providing reports, and testifying in the High Court of South Africa.
Ms Sefolo adopts a culturally sensitive approach in her assessments and interventions, respecting and considering the cultural backgrounds of individuals to ensure effective treatment. Alongside her work in medical and mental health settings, she actively engages in media appearances and public speaking events.
