Dr Ira Naeem

Dr. Ira Naeem is the Founder and Clinical Psychologist at Meer Psychiatric Clinic, where she provides psychological care for adolescents aged 11 years and above, as well as adults. Guided by a holistic philosophy of mental health, she views emotional wellbeing as the integration of psychological, physical, social, and spiritual health. Her aim is to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgemental environment in which individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

After several years of working within Dubai's mental health sector, Dr. Naeem founded Meer Psychiatric Clinic to offer personalised and comprehensive psychological services tailored to each individual's unique needs. She is committed to delivering high-quality, care that combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion, helping clients build resilience, overcome emotional challenges, and achieve lasting psychological wellbeing.

Dr. Naeem has specialist expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She works with a broad range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, personality disorders, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual.
