About Dr. Tamara Aladhami
Dr. Tamara Aladhami is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Mediclinic City Hospital, Dubai. Her extensive experience includes the management of ovarian tumours and tubal pathology, hysterectomy, endometriosis, fibroids, menstrual disorders, postmenopausal disorders, miscarriage, pelvic infections, and early pregnancy problems.
Dr. Aladhami studied at Al-Mustansiriya University in Iraq as well as Cardiff University in the UK, where she also gained a postgraduate qualification in gynaecological ultrasound. She has also trained and worked as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in the UK. She undertook advanced training in open and laparoscopic gynaecological surgery as well as labour ward management. During her career, she has spent time as the lead consultant for diabetes in pregnancy. She has also worked and trained at the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board hospitals and became certified in cosmetic Gynaecology from North America of Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and has become a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2015.
