Dr. Srisailesh Vitthala

Dr Srisailesh Vitthala is a Medical Director and fertility expert specialising in reproductive medicine and fertility-enhancing procedures. He has over a decade of clinical experience across India and the UK, with a strong focus on advanced infertility treatments and assisted reproduction.

His clinical practice covers a wide range of fertility services, including ovulation induction (OI), intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), as well as embryo transfer procedures. He also has expertise in fertility-enhancing surgeries, including hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, and open surgical techniques.

Dr Vitthala has worked at the Aberdeen Fertility Centre and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he also held an honorary academic role with the University of Aberdeen for several years. His work includes managing complex fertility cases such as poor ovarian reserve, premature ovarian failure, endometriosis, fibroids, male infertility, and fertility preservation for oncology patients.

He is also involved in diagnostic fertility services, including pelvic ultrasound, tubal patency testing, and ovarian reserve assessment, alongside developing one-stop fertility clinic models for streamlined patient care.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Vitthala contributes to academic fertility medicine through publications, training manuals, and clinical protocols. He is a British Fertility Society–accredited trainer in infertility and pelvic ultrasound and is actively involved in teaching and mentoring healthcare professionals in reproductive medicine and assisted conception techniques.
