Dr. Serge Mattar

Dr. Serge Mattar is a highly experienced fertility consultant with over nine years of practice in leading fertility centres across Canada, Qatar, Oman, Lebanon, and the UAE. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

After earning his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the American University of Beirut, Dr. Mattar completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the same institution. He went on to pursue a fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Montreal, Canada, where he was also awarded a Diplôme d’Études Spécialisées (D.E.S.).

In addition to his clinical and surgical expertise, Dr. Mattar has a strong academic background. He served as a clinical instructor at the University of Montreal’s Medical School and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. His research has been presented at prestigious international conferences, and he continues to drive innovation in fertility care by integrating advanced techniques such as artificial intelligence into clinical practice. Notably, he established the first ovarian tissue cryopreservation program in the region.
