Mr Sanjay Perkar

Dr Sanjay Perkar is a Specialist Paediatrician with a decade of specialist clinical experience in general paediatrics, neonatal medicine, paediatric nephrology, paediatric oncology and other specialties of paediatric medicine. He currently practices at Fakeeh University Hospital and worked at Mediclinic City Hospital for 5 years prior to his current role.

Dr Perkar qualified in medicine at Shri Vasantrao Naik Government Medical College, India in 2007. He later completed an MD in Paediatrics at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, India in 2012. Following his postgraduate qualification, Dr Perkar worked at the internationally renowned All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India as a Paediatrician. In this role he also trained both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. He also completed a Fellowship in Paediatric Critical Care at BLK Super Specialty Hospital in New Delhi, India.

Dr Perkar has clinical interests in all areas of general paediatrics and neonatal medicine. His daily clinical practice typically involves well-baby checks, developmental screenings and administering vaccinations as well as managing infectious and non-infectious illnesses, allergies, asthma, acute & chronic illnesses and complex cases in children. He also has a wealth of experience dealing with emergency, critical care and high dependency cases.

In addition to his role at Fakeeh University Hospital, Dr Perkar is also an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dubai. He is also passionate about contributing to medical research in his field of expertise and has published widely in both national and international medical journals.
