Dr Sandra Premkumar

Dr Sandra Premkumar is a Specialist Dermatologist currently practising at NMC Specialty Hospital in Abu Dhabi. She completed her MBBS at Amritha Institute of Medical Science in Kochi in 2013, followed by an MD in Dermatology from Sri Manakula Vinayakar Medical College & Hospital in Pondicherry in 2016. With a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience, she is known for providing expert care across both medical and cosmetic dermatology.

Prior to joining NMC, Dr Premkumar gained experience at Aster Clinic in Sharjah, Skincare Medspa in Dubai, and Dr Yogiraj Centre for Dermatology & Cosmetology. She is skilled in a wide range of treatments including chemical peels, laser hair removal, skin pigmentation procedures, resurfacing, and stretch mark reduction. She also offers PRP therapy for hair loss and skin rejuvenation, Botox injections, and mesotherapy.

Her clinical expertise spans diagnosis and management of infections, immunologic and degenerative skin disorders, neoplastic conditions, and sexually transmitted diseases. She performs cryotherapy, electrocautery, radiofrequency procedures, skin biopsies, dermabrasion, narrowband UVB and PUVA phototherapy for vitiligo, mole excision, nail surgeries, and earlobe repairs.

Dr Premkumar has particular interests in aesthetic dermatology, trichology, acne and rosacea management, allergic skin conditions, and chronic inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and lichen planus.
