Dr Sadeq Yaqub

Dr Sadeq Yaqub is a consultant paediatric surgeon based at Emirates Hospital Jumeirah and Emirates Specialty Hospital (DHCC).

He gained his M.D in 2003 from the Faculty of Medicine Szczecin Medical University, Poland and became a Specialist in Pediatric Surgery MBBCH in 2012. He registered as a consultant Paediatric Surgeon with the GMC in 2013.

His previous roles include Specialist Paediatric Surgeon in Medcare Hospital, Dubai, Senior Assistant in Department of Paediatric Surgery of Medical University of Warsaw, Poland, and Specialist Pediatric Surgeon in Children Hospital ( Marszalkowska 24 St. Hospital) in Warsaw, Poland.

Dr Yaqoub is a member of the Emirates Medical Association (EMA), the Emirates Paediatric Surgery Society, the Polish Association of Paediatric Surgeons, and the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons (BAPS).

He specialises in neonatal and paediatric surgery, including the repair of birth defects, thoracic, abdominal, and genitourinary procedures, as well as minimally invasive techniques like laparoscopy and thoracoscopy. His expertise extends to day-case surgeries such as hernia repairs and circumcision, along with emergency care for conditions like burns, appendicitis, and trauma. With a comprehensive approach, he ensures expert treatment for both routine and complex paediatric surgical needs.
