Dr Sabrina Suma

Dr Sabrina Suma is an EU board-certified and DHA-licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience. She currently practises at Human Relations Institute & Clinics and Up and Running Medical Center in Dubai, where she provides counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Her areas of expertise include anxiety disorders, panic attacks, depression, mood disorders, adjustment difficulties, existential crises, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, marital and relationship issues, work-related burnout, and women’s health-related emotional discomfort. Her approach integrates strategic and Gestalt-based methods to support emotional healing and personal development.

Dr Suma completed her studies in Clinical Psychology at Sapienza Università di Roma and has since gained several specialist qualifications in educational psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy, and psychotherapy through accredited institutions in Italy. She has worked extensively in both public and private health sectors in Italy and the UAE, including in hospitals, women’s shelters, and school-based mental health programmes.

She speaks English and Italian.
