Dr. Omar Sabri

Dr. Omar Sabri is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with over two decades of clinical experience in the UK and the Middle East. He currently practices at the Saudi German Hospital, Valiant Healthcare and Up and Running Medical Centre in Dubai. He is also Chairman of Kensington Orthopaedics and acting Secretary of the Orthopaedic Trauma Society (OTS). Dr. Sabri holds medical qualifications including MBBCh, MS (Orthopaedics), and FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics).

His clinical expertise spans the management of upper and lower limb fractures, joint replacement (including robotic-assisted hip and knee surgery), arthroscopic knee procedures, and complex pelvic reconstruction. He has performed over 4,000 procedures, many of them in major trauma centres, and is involved in the use of advanced surgical technologies, including MAKO and NAVIO robotic systems.

Dr. Sabri is the Principal Investigator for several NIHR-funded trials, focusing on computer-assisted, patient-specific instrumentation in joint replacement. He is also an Honorary Lecturer at the University of London and a contributing author to the Oxford Textbook of Critical Care. With over 100 international presentations and multiple peer-reviewed publications, he actively contributes to surgical education and innovation, including work with Fundamental VR on virtual reality-based surgical training.
