Dr. Nimitha Jayan is a highly experienced Specialist in Psychiatry with over nine years of expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders. Known for her compassionate and patient-centred approach, Dr. Nimitha works with both adults and children, offering tailored treatment plans that address each individual’s unique mental health needs. Before joining Jumeirah American Clinic, Dr. Nimitha was a Specialist Psychiatrist at Lifeline Group in Dubai and an Assistant Professor in Geriatric Mental Health at King George Medical University. She completed her residency training in both General Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry at esteemed institutions in India. She is particularly passionate about addressing the complex interactions between mental health, hormonal imbalances, medications, and lifestyle factors.
