About Dr. Nafad El Hadidi
Dr. Nafad El Hadidi is a highly experienced consultant surgeon specialising in general laparoscopic, bariatric, and vascular surgery. He earned both his Master’s degree and Medical Doctorate in General and Vascular Surgery from Cairo University and has undertaken advanced training in redo bariatric surgery as well as endovascular surgery at Emory Hospital.
Dr. El Hadidi has extensive expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques, with particular interests in laparoscopic surgery, bariatric and metabolic surgery, vascular and endovenous procedures, and trauma surgery. His practice includes advanced treatments for venous and arterial disease using laser and glue catheter techniques, alongside complex vascular interventions and weight-loss surgery.
He is a member of several international professional organisations, including the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders, the American College of Surgeons, and the Arab Gulf Society for Gastroenterology and Catheterology for the treatment of veins and arteries.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. El Hadidi has contributed to surgical research and academic publications covering topics such as amino acids in obstructive jaundice, antithrombin III and protein C in recurrent deep vein thrombosis and failed arteriovenous access, surgical outcomes of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm, arteriovenous access survival, and bariatric surgery outcomes in the Asia-Pacific region.
