Dr Mutaz Labib

Dr Mutaz Labib is a Consultant in Pulmonary and Critical Care Diseases at Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai with over 20 years of clinical experience. His expertise covers pulmonary medicine, critical care, internal medicine, and sleep medicine.

He specialises in the treatment of airway diseases, lung cancer, pleural diseases, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, lung fibrosis, pulmonary embolism, and pulmonary hypertension. He also has experience in advanced airway and pleural procedures and has played a leading role in smoking cessation training as a regional and local trainer in tobacco dependency treatment.

He previously held academic and clinical positions including Assistant Professor of Medicine at Brown University in the United States, Consultant in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in the United States, Clinical Associate at Tufts University, CPR Instructor at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, and Consultant in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Internal Medicine Program Director at King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan.
